WAVASORB® VX is a premium broadband absorber series featuring truncated pyramidal elements manufactured from carbon-loaded urethane foam. Each absorber geometry is individually optimized to deliver excellent electromagnetic absorption performance across a wide frequency range, making WAVASORB® VX suitable for high-accuracy EMC and antenna measurement environments.

The series is designed to combine broadband performance with reliable power handling and long-term stability. Certified fire-retardant and environmentally compliant materials ensure safe operation in demanding test facilities, while strict quality control guarantees repeatable and consistent absorber performance.

    Installation & Integration

    WAVASORB® VX is typically bonded to metallic chamber surfaces using WAVASORB® Adhesive, ensuring secure fixation and long-term reliability. For applications requiring flexibility or easy replacement, modular installation options are available, including velcro-based fastening systems or plate-and-rail mounting solutions.

    These installation methods enable precise geometry and alignment while remaining compatible with all common shielding types. Absorber dimensions, surface coatings and factory-installed self-adhesive options can be customized to meet specific mechanical, environmental or aesthetic requirements.
