WAVASORB® VHP

Advanced Broadband Pyramidal Absorber

WAVASORB® VHP is a premium broadband absorber series consisting of solid, pyramidal-shaped, carbon-loaded polyurethane foam elements. Each absorber geometry is individually optimized to deliver outstanding electromagnetic absorption performance across an exceptionally wide frequency range from 100 MHz up to 500 GHz.

Designed for high-accuracy EMC and antenna measurement environments, WAVASORB® VHP combines premium broadband performance with excellent continuous-wave power handling and long-term stability. Certified fire-retardant and environmentally compliant materials ensure safe operation in demanding test facilities, while strict internal quality control procedures guarantee consistent and repeatable absorber performance.

    Installation & Integration

    WAVASORB® VHP is typically bonded to metallic chamber surfaces using WAVASORB® Adhesive to ensure secure fixation and long-term reliability.

    For easy exchange or modular configurations, installation techniques using velcro-fasteners or plate-and-rail mounting systems are available. These methods allow precise geometry and alignment while remaining compatible with any type of shielding.

    Robust walkable floor absorber versions (WAVASORB® VHP-FL) are available in different grades to provide ample access to equipment. Additional customization options such as plastic coating, painting/coating colours and factory-installed self-adhesive tape can be supplied upon request.
