WAVASORB® VHP-OD

Advanced Broadband Pyramidal Outdoor Absorber

WAVASORB® VHP-OD is a series of solid, pyramidal-shaped outdoor absorbers specifically engineered for demanding exterior electromagnetic testing environments. Based on the standard pyramidal polyurethane foam absorber design, the VHP-OD series is enhanced with a low-loss unloaded polyurethane foam base and wrapped in a sealed PVC cover for extended durability.

Designed to withstand UV exposure and harsh weather conditions, WAVASORB® VHP-OD delivers reliable broadband absorption performance with excellent continuous-wave power handling. All products are REACH- and RoHS-compliant and manufactured under strict quality control procedures to ensure consistent and repeatable performance.

    Installation & Integration

WAVASORB® VHP-OD is typically bonded to metallic surfaces using WAVASORB® Adhesive for secure and long-term fixation.

For flexible or exchangeable configurations, modular installation techniques are available, including:

    Velcro-fastener systems
Plate & rail mounting solutions for precise geometry and alignment
For flat ground applications, the absorber can be configured with:

Five polyethylene jars to slightly elevate the absorber from the ground
Four ball transfer units for quick and easy removal
When not in use, storing the absorbers in a covered area can increase life expectancy.
