High-Power Broadband Pyramidal Absorber

WAVASORB® HFX 4-8-12 is a high-power broadband pyramidal absorber series specifically developed for demanding RF and microwave environments. The lightweight open-cell honeycomb structure combines excellent electromagnetic absorption with superior continuous-wave power handling capability.

Each absorber geometry is optimized to deliver premium reflectivity performance across a wide frequency range, while maintaining structural strength, fire resistance and long service life under controlled environmental conditions.

    Installation & Integration

    WAVASORB® HFX 4-8-12 is installed using perforated Plate & Rail mounting systems. This system ensures secure fixation while allowing free air circulation throughout the absorber structure.

    The mounting system provides:

    • Free circulation of air for thermal management
    • Perfect geometry and alignment compatibility with all common shielding types

    The ventilated honeycomb structure allows the absorber to withstand higher illuminating power capacities. When forced airflow is applied, the absorber can handle higher incident power densities.
