Advanced Flat Sheet Absorber

WAVASORB® FS is a series of flat, flexible, carbon-loaded urethane foam absorbers designed for applications where conventional pyramidal absorbers are not practical. The flat sheet geometry makes this product especially suitable for corners, edges and complex areas within anechoic environments.

The absorber is manufactured in controlled batches and its reflectivity is continuously monitored according to internal ISO 9001 procedures. With certified fire-retardant performance and environmental compliance, WAVASORB® FS provides a reliable and durable solution for precision measurement environments.

    Installation & Integration

    WAVASORB® FS is typically bonded to metallic chamber surfaces using WAVASORB® Adhesive to ensure secure and long-term fixation.

    For applications requiring flexibility or easy replacement, modular installation techniques are available, including velcro-fastener systems and plate & rail mounting solutions to achieve precise geometry and alignment compatible with any type of shielding.

    The flat sheet structure allows easy trimming and adaptation to irregular geometries, making it particularly effective for corners and complex chamber transitions.
