WAVASORB® FHY

Flat Sheet Hybrid Absorber

WAVASORB® FHY is a thin, flat sheet hybrid absorber designed for use in EMC and anechoic test environments where space constraints or complex geometries are present. The absorber is typically installed on top of ferrite tiles to enhance broadband absorption performance while maintaining a compact overall profile.

Developed for non-critical and difficult-to-access areas within EMC chambers, WAVASORB® FHY provides a practical and reliable solution for improving electromagnetic absorption without the use of bulky pyramidal structures. Its advanced material composition ensures stable performance, fire safety and long-term durability.

    Key Features

    Installation & Integration

WAVASORB® FHY is typically installed directly onto ferrite tiles using WAVASORB® Adhesive or a velcro-based fastening system, depending on the chamber design and accessibility requirements. This approach ensures secure fixation while allowing flexibility for maintenance or future reconfiguration.

The flat sheet design enables easy adaptation to complex geometries and space-constrained areas. Absorber dimensions can be customized to match specific project requirements, with optional surface treatments such as plastic coating or alternative finishes available to meet environmental, durability or visual specifications.
