Flat Sheet Broadband Microwave Honeycomb Absorber

WAVASORB® FFX is a flat sheet, non-flexible broadband microwave absorber designed for high-power applications, with or without ventilation. Its hexagonal open-cell honeycomb structure provides a unique combination of high mechanical strength and low weight, making it particularly suitable for airborne and structurally integrated systems.

The absorber is coated with a gradient conductive absorber layer to ensure effective electromagnetic performance while maintaining airflow through the open-cell structure. Designed and quality controlled using original simulating test techniques, WAVASORB® FFX delivers consistent and reliable results in demanding environments.

    Installation & Integration

    WAVASORB® FFX is always installed against a metal backside, typically in combination with a metal plate or conductive foil to ensure proper performance and structural support.
